I got to read the article that Ko wrote about American students who were/are studying Japanese. It was . . . rather poorly written. Especially considering the fact that I was misquoted. Seriously people if you are going to summarize a direct quote you need to not use quotation marks. Also, one must keep in mind the power of ellipses and proper grammar. Fact checking is also a plus.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m an English major or what but I tend to get really annoyed about certain glaring grammatical errors. Especially when I’m not allowed to fix the darned things. And more especially when they are present in things that are being attributed to me, even more especially when you tell me you can’t understand what I said on the recoding of me answering your question and so ask me to type it all out and even then manage to screw up my nice, pretty grammatically correct sentences. At least the darn thing is not going to be published, because then I would be really upset.

I offered to edit things of his in the future, and he turned me down because he thinks he is fully capable of editing his own articles and isn’t sure I could do it. Seriously, this is something I’ve been offered money for in the past; I think it is something I do rather well.
I suppose it will save me time and effort and all that but I really enjoy fixing up other people’s work. I like it even more when they understand the reason behind the changes I feel are necessary, which is why I always explain them in great detail. ~sigh~
