Apr. 29th, 2007 08:17 pmDear people who think I can’t cook, I can cook just fine. I’m just usually too lazy to put forth the effort to make food from scratch. I’m also pretty bad at making random things without a recipe. But tonight I said, “Hang the effort,” and made myself some yummy ginger pork with rice. Other than grating the fresh ginger to make ginger juice it really wasn’t difficult. I might actually do it again. And next time I think I’ll cook the onions separately so they can caramelize. So ha!
Also, dear Frys, since when do you need to card not just the person buying alcohol but all the people in line with them and take down the information on everyone’s Driver’s Licenses and have them sign for it? It seems like a lot of bother for me to get a $6.00 bottle of sake to cook with. Perhaps you would consider going back to your usual level of card checking insanity? Or shall I just start infrequently buying booze elsewhere?
