Hello again Internet!
Jan. 1st, 2007 02:36 pmAh, joy, I am home, I am away from my mother, and I have internet. Things are improving by the minute.
My time spent with family can best be expressed by the following statement: Argh! What the crap is wrong with you people! Gah! Why! Arrrrgh!
That having been said, some of the highlights of my trip home include: My mother explaining to me that I am an idiot and treating me like I was an incompetent three year old and offering me such "sage advice" like "You know, if you don't work at something you'll never be any good at it," and "You should pay attention to your finances, if you have no money you can't buy anything," my family forcing my to give up hours at work to spend more time in Phoenix (and my sister had freaking packed for those extra three days so don't try and tell me you didn't plan it out earlier), and being informed in the car ride home that someone had called me earlier in the week and wanted to make plans. Yeah, they had no idea who had called and why I would have wanted that message sooner. So, person who I never called back, I apologize and hope you found something to do.
Now, I am considering another trip. This one will not involve family, rather I would have an opportunity to go and visit a friend of mine. I am currently hammering out details, but it looks feasible so I just might be doing it. The best part about the whole thing is getting out of the house!
