ladylucklessMom has decided that the crib needs to be built so that they can be sure all the pieces are there and that it stands up properly and all that. Mike has been volunteered to do this. In other my sister is having a baby and this is apparently going to impact my life news I have been volunteered to help with her baby shower. I am supposed to be expecting a "surprise" call from one of her friends to talk about details. Sadly, pretending to be incompetent didn't help and I'm going to be stuck throwing a highly ritualized tea party for a bunch of people who like my sister. Kill me now. Or help me sneak in rum and glow sticks.
Side note- anyone want to point me in the direction of simple instructions, designed for deeply stupid people, for LJ cuts and making links into pretty words as opposed to long strings of random crap? Anyone?
