Yay! Lawyers!

ladylucklessI'm thinking about learning another language. It makes sense as I'm planning on moving to Canada where they speak French but it still feels a little insane. As cool as it would be to share Erin's "another year, another language" mentality I'm not sure how well I'll be able to handle it. I suck at learning languages. And French pronunciation/spelling is weird. (I say this as someone who thinks the Japanese writing system makes sense once you learn enough of it. Although I maintain that the process of getting to the point where it makes sense is enough to make a grown man cry--and not a few tears squeezed out of tear ducts here, we're talking wet, snotty bawling.)
Other classes I'm thinking about include ANT 211 (Anthropology of Everyday Life) because it sounds awesome and I've become a bit addicted to Anthropology classes. Seriously they are so much fun. ~squee~
ANT 301 is online and will only be during the first half of the semester. It's also with the one guest lecturer that I've had this semester that actually seemed like she had come to class prepared to lecture on the topic that was on our syllabus and not how awesome she is.
I'm most assuredly taking ENG 231. I know I don't need anymore English classes--I don't need anymore classes at all at this point actually, but if I'm going to be sticking around because of that whole application process I might as well take something I'm going to like. Reser's teaching this one. It's on British literature. Frankly I'm amazed I haven't already taken this class.

Gyakutan Saiban 3 (Okay, Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations I didn’t actually import it . . . much as I wanted to) came in the mail today. Along with the final piece of my Halloween costume. Hooray for me getting my spikey-haired silly lawyer fix and for not having to kill the people who waited a full week after payment to ship my red fedora.
